In 2011 Mirambika Free Progress School in New Delhi was awarded the annual Sanskriti Geddes fellowship which allowed some of the children and their teachers to work on a 'Cities' project. As a final outcome they produced a large A3 calendar, each month featuring a different city with drawings and text. On the school website one can see another part of the work the children did. For information on the school click on the graphic to the left. For the children's work here is the link:

Sanskriti-Geddes Scholarship
"The scholarship is being instituted in the joint memory of Patrick Geddes and his son Arthur Geddes, both of whom had a long association with India." "The objective of the scholarship is to promote and advance interest in and understanding of Patrick Geddes’ principles of town planning. This scholarship will provide an opportunity to create awareness among young planners and architects of Geddes’ principle of ‘place, work, and folk’."
